DIY Homemade Laundry Detergent Recipes

Homemade Laundry Detergent Powder

12 cups borax
8 cups baking soda
8 cups washing soda
8 cups of grated Bar soap – use an all natural, fragrance free bar of soap

Mix all ingredients well and store in a sealed tub.
Use 1/8 cup of your homemade laundry detergent powder per full load.

Homemade Liquid Laundry Detergent Recipe

2 gallons of hot water
1 bar of grated earth friendly soap
3/4 cup of washing soda
3/4 cup of Borax
2 Tbsp of Glycerin

Melt the grated soap over medium heat until the soap has melted.
In a large container, pour the 2 gallons of hot water and melted soap, washing soda, Borax and glycerin.
Mix together well.
Use 1/2 cup of your homemade laundry detergent liquid per full load.
